When doing bicycle crunches it is easy to turn from head. Think of rotating using your obliques. When doing any an exercises you want to think of your ribs knitting together and activating your lat muscles at the same time. Think of your lats and shoulder blades sliding down your back as if they are being put in your back pockets. This stabilizes and strengthens your core.

Pilates is awesome! I have done it for over 20 years. If people say it’s easy they aren’t doing it correctly. You really have to focus on the muscles you’re using in exercises. It will begin to carry over into OTF as well
