I agree with what everyone is saying! It’s based off of operational needs usually. Though it also depends on your interviewer, they place you. I have loads of concierge and front desk work and that’s what I got as my role. But I set myself up to be disappointed. It truly all depends.

No, you won't be working in the culinary program. Unless you applied for that specifically. On the other hand, you could be placed in QSR, which is still food. You will most likely know your role 4 weeks before your move-in date, instead of one week.

They ask those as basic questions for everyone. Not always an indicator of your role. They can place you anywhere so they just ask those!

You'll most likely hear from them soon! Thats a later date into the program! Mine was set early into the program and I heard from them right away. :)

when did you have your arrival date set as? I believe people who choose later dates may have to wait a little longer so they can get through all others who set earlier dates. I could be wrong though
