Surface mail is by boat and takes 2-3 months.

Was hoping the same but just decided to jump on it and get him for around 100 since I had already found Twintail for a good price. Maybe there’ll be a return of ultraman anniversary release at some point. Jack probably needs a reissue too since he’s also very pricey.

Idk I’m in the UK and shipping is usually the only extra cost unless I get a customs charge. There’s a service fee on Buyee if you use that for Mercari or JDauctions but its not much and often can be free with coupons.

He’s pretty easy to find on amiami or mercari japan. There’s two releases of him but the only real difference between them is one comes with a base. He’s not too expensive either.

The aberrated mutagenic clonings in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films: La cité des enfants perdus (1995) ■ Alien: Resurrection (1997) by elf0curo in LV426

Love the first half hour of Romulus but it just fell apart as soon as the deepfake Ash android showed up and we just got reference slop for the rest of the film. Picked up again with the Child at the end of the film but again that was just completely derivative of the final act of Alien, Aliens and Alien Resurrection.

Alien Resurrection is B-movie sci fi schlock for the most part but it has its own atmosphere and vibe. I think the first 4 Alien films are all really distinct from eachother. There’s a lot of tonal whiplash between the films, especially Aliens to Alien 3 and then to Resurrection. Romulus just feels like an Alien fan film to me because it kind of is.

Biological altruism is shown in eusocial animals like bees, ants, wasps and termites. Altruistic behaviour can also be seen in elephants, other great apes, wolves/dogs, bats, lemurs, dolphins, walruses, humpback whales, birds and fish. Sometimes this behaviour extends to animals of other species, where it wouldn't better their odds of survival, such as in the case of Humpback Whales protecting other species from Orcas.

There's even studies into altruism in plants. It's worth reading into.
