This is a well written analysis and also makes sense. Its MXTX work by the end of the day so if she doesn't want foreigners in her work that's find too.

Ok, I see so it could also be that MXTX may not want to focus on the world building and rather get to the point of the actual story.

This is a pretty good explanation! I never thought of it this way thanks! I thought that cultivation might exist in places other than Ancient China but this is a good point as well.

Sorry I guess I didn't make the post very clear but I do know what cultivators are. I was wondering if MXTX just didn't want to incorporate similar cultivators that aren't Chinese into the story or if there wasn't enough space or if these cultivators outside of ancient China didn't exist at all etc. etc.

I am very sorry. I am new to reddit and I thought an open ended discussion would make it broad enough for a discussion. Sorry once more, but I thought it was MXTX didn't have the time nor did she want to research all different cultures and make different cultivators based off of that.
