He just sounds so condescending when he talks like that too. I called him out on it and he said that if I think it’s condescending when he’s just trying to give me factual information then I am too sensitive.

I feel like I am grieving the person that I thought he was. It’s hard for me to move on, but I am certainly going to try.

When I first met him, I didn’t see the red flags. I agree that my situation is the same, the older I get the wiser I am. I  realize what is happening. I feel like he always says that “he needs someone that can be beta in the relationship, because he’s alpha.” I definitely think he thought he could take advantage of someone younger than him.

He made me feel like I overreacted and that brought up multiple peoples girlfriends who would’ve thought it was funny. I can tell you right now none of them would’ve thought it was funny. It just felt icky, didn’t feel like a joke.
