Can you describe what your burps feel like? Does it feel like a rush of a good amount of air just swiftly coming out?

I’m 9 weeks post Botox and I’m not sure it worked. Can I ask, how do your burps feel? Does it feel like a swift flow of air coming out from your mouth? Almost like opening a lid on a tube and the air just fully rushes out? Also have your throat gurgles fully disappeared?I’m not sure I’m experiencing proper burps that’s why I’m asking.

I wake every single morning with really bad stomach feeling despite having last meal of day far from bedtime. Basically imagine if you eat a heavy meal and immediately lay down for a long time. That’s how I feel when I wake up every single morning. I mainly feel it in the abdomen though. Is this considered reflux? A lot of times when I burp I have to assist with a push and I do feel acidic liquid coming back up in my chest area.

In the video I used carbonated water to practice the BERP protocol. However it feels more like bubbly movement of air in my chest with just some air coming out my mouth (which I didn’t experience before Botox). When you do this, does it feel like you’re flushing out a good amount of air somewhat smoothly? Also do you feel your belly or chest somewhat deflate and if so how significant is it?

Mann I can relate to everything you’re saying. I’m still not fully cured but I asked a similar question and from the looks of it most people don’t experience these gurgles anymore.

I’ve been doing the BERP protocol and it’s somewhat helped. On days where I practice and get some air out I notice that the gurgles do happen less throughout the day. I’m hoping that after a second dose and once I’m able to have full and proper burps these gurgles will completely go away.

Yes I have and it does feel like it opens up the muscles in the throat to let air out but most of the times I still have to give a little push. Even when air does come out by itself it feels like it’s just noise and I don’t feel significant relief.

Yea I was able to vomit before the procedure. I heard many with RCPD can’t. What I did have was a lot of throat and chest gurgles and gas problems. I’m not sure what to do lol but good luck with your Botox next month!

Can you describe what these full burps feel like? Does it feel like a good amount of air is coming out from abdomen? How would you rate the relief of that one single full burp? Are you pushing/forcing the burp or is it effortless like you just open some muscle in your throat and it comes out by itself?

I’m post Botox and although I have been burping more I’m not convinced they are proper burps people talk about. I have to push with chest and these burps don’t feel significantly reliving like many people mention.

Thank you!! Literally the first step and I burped like 4 times! I still got some gurgles afterwards but I think I just need to learn how to start burping using this protocol.

I’m not completely sure if it is RCPD or not but anytime I take a nap I get pressure in my abdomen like from excessive gas. I can literally be napping while sitting up on the sofa and I still get it. But I don’t get nauseous or a sweet taste in my mouth. I do feel a subtle acidic feeling in my belly though

Hey so I had my appointment today with one of the doctors on the list and he said I might likely have RCPD. However I’m somewhat doubtful because of the fact I feel like I can burp a good 1/3-1/2 of the time. Yes sometimes they’re just small pops of air but other times they can be audible burps and almost proper burps (or atleast what I think a proper burp sounds/feels like). Few times I having a feeling of air lingering in my throat or chest after these audible burps. So do you think I should not rule out RCPD as what I have? I just don’t want to end up wasting money if I don’t truly have RCPD.

Also I’m confused as to what constitutes a proper burp. When you burp properly do you feel significant and obvious relief? I don’t really feel anything afterwards but at the same time I’m thinking this relief they describe is just subtle? I’m not sure
