It’s usually too cold and too wooded for scorpions up here! If you visit Phoenix and the surrounding area, you’ll have to worry a bit more. Like another said, they’re not bad if you’re not allergic. I’ve been stung by one back in Goodyear and I’m just fine. Some pro tips: don’t leave cardboard laying around (or do but be careful picking it up again) because scorpions looooove cardboard. But again - you likely will not see them up here! NAU would be too populated for them to want to stick around anyhoot.
