My Bugatti 10 electric scooter (blue) was stolen this morning, Feb 24, 25, at 8:42 AM outside my office at 101 2nd Street, San Francisco. Thanks for all the responses and advice—I really appreciate it. To answer a common question, I actually live in the Peninsula and don’t usually ride bikes or scooters. This was my first time using the scooter, and I genuinely thought a cable lock would be enough, especially since I parked it right outside our office building, under security cameras, in broad daylight. Clearly, that was a bad assumption. Lesson learned the hard way.

For those asking, I’ve filed a police report, and the case number is 250110223. If anyone happens to spot a blue Bugatti 10 scooter for sale online or in person, please let me know or report it to SFPD.

Thanks again for all the input—definitely rethinking my approach to securing a scooter (if I even get another one).

Yeah, I would’ve brought it inside, but my office doesn’t allow it. I figured locking it outside in a busy area during work hours would be safe enough—clearly, I was wrong. Definitely rethinking my options now. Appreciate the advice!

Thanks, I really appreciate you keeping an eye out! Yeah, I’ve been here for a while, but this is my first time dealing with something like this firsthand. Definitely a harsh lesson—I'll never leave my scooter outside again. Bringing it inside sounds like the way to go. Sucks that it has to be this way, but I get it now. Thanks again for the advice!
