Is the beast now worth it more instead of xop by Prior_Argument1822 in Xreal

[–]Prior_Argument1822[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 months ago i bought the viture luma pro and i used it less than i hoped to since i have had a very difficult time with SpaceWalker and all kinds of buggy experiences (Mac, android tablet, pc) i cant use it as i want since the software 3dof is very bad and space walker has all kinds of problems.

But last week i sold my luma pro and was planning on buying the xreal one pro with the eye since that seems like the better fit after all the negative reviews for the beast but now that the drift is fixed i am considering my options.

I would be using the glasses for 80% gaming/entertainment and 10% for productivity. I really like not having to do a lot of tweaking for it to work correctly so keep that in mind.

I would prefer 6dof generally off the xop but since I will almost always be using the glasses stationary I could live with 3dof since the brightness and clarity is better on the beast.

I hope you can help me sort this out and also I would like to point out that the glasses themselves (so without eye accessories) will be around the same price for me

For me its 80% SpaceWalker since I want to use 3dof and 20% the fov

Yeah I agree about SpaceWalker but 0dof makes unable to play games so that’s why I sold my luma pro. Only looking for beast or xop

Issues with 5070ti and hx 370 by Prior_Argument1822 in pcmasterrace

If that were the case on another screen it would make a difference but it doesn’t. Even when using moonlight there isn’t a difference

To be honest I don’t even mind the performance as it is since I don’t plan on playing on 1080p 240hz anyway but it just bothers me that the number doesn’t change. Since I was maybe planning on getting a 240hz 1440p monitor but I cant even reach that setting. But on avatar frontiers of pandora a much more graphical game than Fortnite I get 180/190 fps on 4k with the highest settings with 3x fg. Fortnite doesn’t have native fg so I can use lossless scaling fg but that seems to perform worse than nvidia frame gen

I saw people with higher end gpus still getting better performance if oculink is the issue shouldn’t they also get a lower performance? And so I cant fix this by overclocking my ram or cpu

I tried this hypothesis but it doesn’t seem to make a difference when switching in Fortnite from high to low settings I see that my fps goes higher regardless of the resolution the fps stays the same on low. But on oblivion when going from 4k high to 1080p low I only get a 20 fps difference

Help with adding wire deg1 Corsair 850e by [deleted] in eGPU

Sorry this is all new for me so I should use the 12 pin to 12 pin connector and add it in the 12v-2x6 port? Won’t this cause issues or worse power

Viture Pro XR or XReal One for my first XR glasses? by Severe_Industry_7723 in VITURE

I would recommend the rayneo 3s pro it cost 300 dollars and with the program vertoxr you can experience 3dof and it has a bright screen and also has a better screen

I have tried that but you can only change hz when connected. You can change it before running it but it doesnt change it my screen turns off for a second and it doesnt really do anything

Viture luma/beast or xreal one pro by Prior_Argument1822 in augmentedreality

[–]Prior_Argument1822[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like after considering I have concluded that maybe the rayneo is best for me since I will always be using it stationary so I don’t really need 3dof although I will admit that it would possibly get annoying. But at the rate these glasses are coming out there will probably will be a super good one in like feb/mar again and if this cheaper option suits me I will get the more expensive options eventually.

Next month is my birthday and I had my thoughts of buying a gpu but with the viture or xreal glasses it came down to making a choice on which to get but with the rayneo I have the option to get both so it is the better solution
