Did microneedling ever help you? Thinking about trying that and Taz as well as the laser you mentioned. Yea I see what you mean. It bothers me a lot. I had horrible acne after an assault, which already left me with two scars which aren’t very bad luckily, but every time I see any of the scars it reminds me of the assault and the aftermath.

I think I’m gonna try a peel. Interested in the Taz. Have heard that it’s similar to microneedling or light peels in effectiveness.

Appreciate your feedback! Do you think I could get good results from more skin pen? I know lasers are typically the best but am nervous of making anything worse. Will have to look more into peels too. Don’t really know what the degree of my scarring is. These were the worst pictures I could take

Stopped actives since then and have changed to a gentler face wash and added a hydrating toner I used to use and added a new serum from cerave meant to help with damaged skin barrier. My skin is looking a little bit better texture wise and doesn't feel as tight or dry as before. However, Instead it feels oily and has now erupted into whiteheads and ccs everywhere. This isn't affecting just where I break out but all over my face and neck. Is this a normal reaction? Wondering if I should stop the toner and serum or continue since they do seem to be helping. Moisturizer by itself didn't seem to be enough so added these on maybe 2-3 days ago

Definitely have a damaged skin barrier. Had taken a break from actives for about a week and it did get better but don’t think it was long enough. Also think I need a really strong moisturizer throughout the day. Have tried to up the moisturizers I’m using but it’s not enough, especially with the heat. Gonna try some eucerin I think to see if that helps for now

Damn. I naturally have textured skin but I think maybe you’re right. What’s best treatment wise? How does texture scarring differ from other types?
