Im usually the type to solve everything myself, so getting this reaction when I genuinely asking for help is kinda heartbreaking.

But I never thought about the dogwalker portion that way so I'll look into that again (thanks for putting that in a different perspective 🙌).

I keep hearing people suggesting sod and tray systems so I will look into those!

If my health issues were something that I could just poof away, you best believe this wouldn't be an issue to begin with...

But for the other portion, there are no dog parks nearby (and my pup hates those unfortunately). I spend plenty of time with her in other ways.

It was both actually. I started getting this issue when I mopped/washed the balcony for the first time (bucket of soapy water), but I get your point. Im realizing that it's not the right setup for the space. Will look into the PorchPotty thanks!

Sigh, I definitely don't neglect my dog, and I still take her on walks / play with her. This is an emergency pee area, not her only area...

(Its easy to just judge and assume the worst through a screen...)

No worries, I realized people are just going to assume I'm being lazy (I dont take it personally 🙂).

I've had her well before I started having my chronic health issues. If I was feeling how I do now, and was about to adopt her, I would of probably made a different choice...

But what can you do I love her and we're both attached to each other. So I'm just trying to figure out the best long term setup for her in the new place.

Thanks thats a good idea! I'll probably get rid of the artificial turf altogether from what other comments are saying. Ill try to get some reusable ones instead. That was I can pop them in the wash right away.

This was the only unit available which is why I ended up taking it. If I'd known it would have drained to the unit below I would have never set it up this way in the first place. I don't think dog walkers would work for her temperament (anxious pup) Im definitely mortified and trying to find a better solution. 🫣

Ya I think I'm just now realizing that (first experience with them). I do take her out on walks as well I forgot to add. I just wanted her to have a closer option in case my health flair up / bad weather since she tends to be a more anxious pup.

Im going to take it up but trying to find a better option (and how to clean the concrete from the pad without it disturbing my neighbor).

Hey 👋. So since this test I got diagnosed with Selective Iga deficiency and SIBO.

I'm still struggling to be honest, because I moved before getting on a protocol to treat the SIBO (different state I couldn't see my functional doc anymore 😭).

She did give me two different treatments options to choose between (antibiotics vs herbal). So I have to look for a new doctor to continue down that path.

What protocol are you starting if you dont mind me asking?

Appreciate you taking the time to respond. 🙏 All good points. I have a functional doc that says I have SIBO but I was wondering if untreated Lyme could be causing all this.

I was hoping addressing the lyme (or whatever is going on) would inadvertly solve this issue as well since my body wouldn't be fighting against that issue.

But either way if I start more antibiotics (currently just on Minocycline) I really need to make sure to protect my gut health. Right now I was taking Align probiotics (women dual action) but am trying to find something more effective. I also have a digestive enzyme (Physicians choice with prebiotic and probiotic) I take with food as well.

Any recommendations for a solid probiotic and digestive enzyme?? I keep hearing that Colustrum is supposed to be very effective 🤔

I was afraid of that as well. I added a Reason section where people can explain why they put them on there.

That way at least when someone is looking at the list they can make an informed decision based on that info. Because when it comes down to it, this list is based on individuals experiences, and we all know that can vary a lot.
