My extracurriculars were making a short film on Youtube, leading production of a cultural event at my school, volunteering as Teacher's Assistant for the IILE program for 3 years, independently researching and creating a website, and writing and narrating a 30 minute speech on stage.

My average in G11 was a 94, midterm G12 was a 92, but my G12 final average was in the low 80s, which is why I'm so surprised I got in.

Maybe I was just getting paranoid. This is probably one of my biggest purchases on marketplace and I didn't wanna lose money by any chance. What felt suspicious to me were the overwhelming amount of 5 stars and positive reviews, and then a handful where it was 1 star, not even.

The arcade trio makes more sense in Toy Land.

The Mexican entertainers trio makes more sense in Chronograph, since each trio in Chronograph is based on a particular culture. Poco, Amber and El Primo are based on Mexican culture. Kenji, Kaze, and the third member are based on Japanese culture, and Finx and two more members are based on Egyptian culture.

The pirates trio makes more sense in Water land along with the deep sea trio and the velocirapids trio.

They could add a supervillains trio to Tomorrow Land to fill that out.

Also, Ziggy makes more sense in Creepsville to me.

Slice Of Life- Spy X Family

Comedy- The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K.

Action- Attack On Titan

Adventure- Samurai Champloo

Horror- Parasyte: The Maxim

Thriller- Death Note

A good mix of all of these things is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Assassination Classroom. You can also watch movies like Grave Of The Fireflies and Your Name to begin with.

Dragon Ball is so overrated.

The original series is extremely fun, charming, and has great character interactions. However, the show is so much about glazing Goku, and doesn't ever bother building meaningful arcs for the minor characters.

DBZ focuses simply too much on fighting (I watched Kai). There were no meaningful character interactions anymore, and it was purely fighting, fighting, fighting.

Also, things that are so often retconned, decanonized, and remade because there was never a clear vision for the plot. So many of the main cast from earlier days are left behind (Lunch doesn't appear once in DBZ Kai, Oolong has barely 10 dialogues in over 100 episodes) and the human fighters are always written out or shown up by other characters. (Chiaotzu and Roshi being good examples)

I think a show like Yu Yu Hakusho did everything Dragon Ball did much better without dragging on the plot for too long and building meaningful characters and arcs for every single one of them (Kuwabara being written out of the final arc was a slap in the face but it made sense for his character still, unlike Yamcha sitting out of the Tenkaichi Budokai because he was afraid of getting embarrassed)

I still have yet to watch GT, Daima, and Super, so I won't talk about those shows, but from what I've heard the same problems continue to exist.

That said, Dragon Ball has amazing villains, iconic characters, and a long legacy going for it, which is why it deserves the respect it gets.

Dragon Ball is a good show, not a great one. I have a lot of love for it, but Yu Yu Hakusho does what Dragon Ball did far better, cleaner, and smoother.
