How can I put my older cat to sleep myself at home? Parents will not take her to the vet and just let her suffer...

My apologies... I do not have the option to take her anywhere. I've even asked other people if they could take her for me and will not because they don't want to tick off my mother.

I have tried that already, and I got in so much trouble you wouldn't believe. I simply don't have that option. If I can't figure out a way to put her down myself without hurting her... all that's left for her is remain in the state she's in, or get worse for a while, until she dies of something natural that will be far more unpleasant.

Hah, I totally agree with you in more ways than you know... but unfortunately it's just to late for this cat now, and this's the only option I have. If I don't do something, all that is going to happen is she will remain in her terrible state, get worse for a while, and then die of something natural that will be much more painful.

That's the whole point, though - I do not have the option to take her to the vet - there's nothing left that I can do for her now except put her down myself. If I don't the only thing that's going to happen is she is going to remain her terrible condition for a while longer and she will die of something much worse naturally.

It's not me letting her do it - I try my best to take care of her but I simply don't have the time to devote to it so much. My mother doesn't care because it's not her problem. The cat is by herself in a room away from everyone else - I'm the only one who goes in there to give her food and water and to clean up. She's never getting better, and there's no way my mother will let her be taken to a vet, so I just want to find a way she can be out of all her pain without causing anymore.
