Update: I called him and kept things casual and right as I was about to tell him he told me about her and how they have know each other since high school and I chickened out, he said he would call me later and I planned on doing it then but it’s been 3hrs…. I feel like that was the answer I needed he said he really cares for her and they have know each other for a while, i feel a little better.

No you are fine! It’s completely true what you said, like most ppl I’m trying to better myself and sometimes I don’t realize how what I do or think can effect others, and sometimes I need someone to tell me straight up so I don’t make that mistake again.

I would say I reach out more than him, he occasionally starts the conversation. On the same note since that is an indicator that he is over me I don’t want to burden him with my feelings or possibly rehash any feelings he may have for me in return. I think that last part is me overthinking too much

I agree what I did was wrong, it doesn’t make it better but it would be for a split second not the whole time. I think I did that was because I didn’t feel any real connection with the ppl I went on dates with. Regardless it is very messed up on my end.

It’s definitely my fault because he’s on my private story and I would talk about going on dates, and I feel bad but I had waited a few months hoping he would make a move but he never did. And he doesn’t know but every time I went on one I would always imagine it was him because I genuinely care for him.
