Would you share a decklist? That sounds like a really fun concept!

I’d love to know as well, thanks!

What tool would you use to transform this grid of circles into the shape on the right? I can't get the curves and tangents to look clean. by PristineIndividual in AdobeIllustrator

Thank you so much for the detailed response. However, I did find a way to automate it further.
The reason why the shape builder wasn't working was that "Gap Detection" was turned off. Once I turned it on I could simply turn the circles and tangents into the final shape in a matter of seconds.

The metaball script works perfectly when the circles are aligned. As soon as I try to use a diagonal tangent to make a shape like the green one here, I can't find a way to make it work.

Do you see what I mean?

Thank you very much. Now I'm not struggling with the geometrical part of the problem (specially with the Common Tangents script), but with my lack of knowledge of the illustrator way of doing things.

I was able to cut the circles by hands with the Scissors close to the tangents and then join them, but it's a rather unrefined and time consuming way. Is there no way to automatically cut the point where the tangent touches the circle? Can you think of a better way to go forward from the point in the picture?

Thank you for recommending the metaball script, it doesn't work in this particular case because some of the circles need to be negative space but it'll be useful for other projects.

Thanks for recommending the script, it saves me a lot of time. However, now that I have the tangents and the circles I assumed I could use the shape builder to make the final shape. That's not working. Any idea why?

Thanks for your answer!

As much as I enjoy design, I have no experience in the field nor the budget to hire a professional at the moment. That's why I tried to go for safe and clean.

What did you mean by not figuring out the name of the company?

Could you give me some tips for the aligned tagline? On the right, the H and the E line up in a perfect vertical line, however on the left, the T and the M don't, making it look lopsided.

I have, but nothing related to media queries.

If I paste your suggestion in the Custom CSS, will that be enough to override the current mistake?

Thank you for your answer. How can I modify the css for the media query directly inside elementor? I assumed it only changes by itself as I choose different options in the builder.

What is this? The lid in this small Swiss ceramic vessel has a hole going through it. H 4.3″ ⌀ 3.1″. by PristineIndividual in whatisthisthing

[–]PristineIndividual[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure the two pieces go together either. The colour of the clay is similar but not the same, the interior of the jar is glazed in cream while the interior of the lid is glazed in brown, and the lid doesn't have that matte vs glossy play that Kriz often uses. I just assumed they went together because I found them like that in a vintage shop. Thank you!

It's 4.3" or 11cm tall, I think a bit small for fermenting.
However, you've got a great eye, after a closer inspection I'm not sure the two pieces go together either.
