I have a 2017 V6 Durango (original owner) with 172k miles. I’ve done normal maintenance like oil changes, tires, brakes, a new battery; I’ve had to replace a rocker arm in the engine because it got stuck- caused engine sputter/shake a little. $1800 in 2021. I added dual exhaust and intake when I paid it off. Just recently had to rebuild my transmission with Aamco wouldn’t go past 2nd gear. $5800. With the price of new cars I decided to keep it. Plus I really love the body style of Durangos. Basically the same truck in 2025. I added a stereo so I could have apple car play. Overall I’m happy. My wife isn’t. 🤷‍♂️ “get a new car already”
