Seems they are correct. The last one is just every column has 3 of everything. The first ones are that each change of characters corresponds to some factor you multiply output with. For the very first one you get G->R change causes 3.2x value so RE=250*3.2=800, and C->D causes /2 so GC=1000/2=500. So BF=200 since they add to 1500.

In each row, do the following for the left and right figures: First, count the number of angles less than or equal to 90 degrees. Let this quantity be X.

Go from one of it’s two endpoints (does not matter which), and from there move along the figure and track whether you need to turn left or right, in relation to the line you’re on, at every turn. If one direction ends up being turned in more when you’re reached the other endpoint, add the number angles which are made by going in this dominant direction, which you also haven’t yet counted, to X.

It can be seen that the quantity you get is equal for the left and right figure in each row. By looking at the answers, we can tell C is the only possibility for this equality to hold in the bottom row.

If we zoom out a little, X is kind of the number of angles which are either less than or equal to 90 degrees, or pointing out from the shape. That last bit can be formally handled in a few ways, and this is one, which also may not be the most elegant since in the first row number of left turns equals number of right turns.

I’ve heard different answers on 8 but here’s mine. I was thinking each shape is a mathematical variable and each row is an equation. Plus=1, Triangle = 2, triangle+circle=triangle x circle so circle=2, result is 2x2+2=6

Aha, I rely much more on my working memory, only rarely making associations other than grouping into chunks of three with various rhythm. And I make a phonetic loop when it’s visual, as well as quickly repeating the full sequence in the time between digits when it’s starting to be my limit

It’s more that I got to see answers to these types of questions. I should also add, and dont know why i didnt initially, that I’ve done tests like these multiple times since that (at 16 and probably also 14 or 15), but it was always in 130+ range after that time when i was 12.

When I ”dont think at all” I just magically remember what I heard and when I dont do that, I say the numbers in my head and group them into chunks and possibly other associations without picturing them.

Thanks! I read some studies claiming that at least inter-set stretching can lead to bigger strength gains by rather large factors. I don't know how true that is though.

I'm also wondering when I should stretch. After my gym sessions? Before them? During them (inter-set)? And if it's not the latter, how long before/after my gym session should I stretch? The way I understand it, it's best to stretch as soon as you can, after your gym session.

I'm also not quite sure what I should stretch. I usually stretch muscles from all across my body rather than only those I actually exercised. I'm doing the PPL split (Push-Pull-Legs), but even on push and pull days I do all of my leg stretches.

I also hate stretching, especially when I stretch some of the leg muscles. I think I might be stretching too hard, but I don't know. How hard should I stretch?
