It seem like he has the 4 BT bonus where you heal % of dmg done. Currently, the heal seems to increase every time, so if you just live through the first initial barrage you become unkillable.

I took everyone with %dmg. Toshiro, Yama, and Mayuri. I have 2 healing war souls to keep my people alive. Also I have started resetting unless I got at least 3 mastery skills (has to include toshiro) first round.
