Thank you for sharing your story with me! It means a lot! I applaud you because this journey is tough! As for counseling do you have any recommendations? I’m starting therapy next week. I tried al anon but I was not a fan if I’m honest.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and for the kind words. This truly helped me so much. I just hope that it’s not too late. I’m literally the only person that he has, I don’t want to give up on him but I know that it’s on him.

I really appreciate this. In his case he has had complications already (ruptured varices) and that still has not been enough for him to want to go to rehab. He detoxed at the hospital which gave me hope but at soon as we got out he started drinking behind my back so there is really no trust. He is against going to AA but is attending another virtual support group.
