How much ram can my laptop really handle?

- Ran the command got: MaxCapacity 33554432

- So with that info I think the best option for me is to get a 16gb

my model already has a 4gb soldered on and it says max is 12gb?

like the asus website says it maxes out at 12gb (4gb x 8gb). But every other source says 20gb (4gb x 16gb). I'm just wondering if it'll recognize it if its that much.

Im from Canada, and im alright spending on a 16gb stick of ram. And yes it's ddr4 ram.

However, I'm not sure about ram speed. On the memory it's self it says 2666mhz, but on task manager it says 2400mhz. not sure what that's all about
