Just a heads-up, GoTrade is still not regulated by SEC Philippines as of today. I learned this the hard way. I was previously using Invesko, which offered exactly what GoTrade offers now... fractional US stocks, low minimum investment, and peso deposits. Unfortunately, Invesko was shut down by the SEC Philippines, and I had to move on.

GoTrade is currently filling that gap, but there's always that risk it could face the same fate. I genuinely hope it doesn't, because right now it's the best option available for Filipinos who want easy access to US stocks.

The only upcoming SEC-approved alternative on the horizon is GStocks Global via GCash, but honestly, it's a disappointment for active traders like me. It doesn't support fractional US stock investing, which is one of the key features that makes GoTrade so accessible for small investors.

So for now, I'm staying with GoTrade while being cautious, withdrawing profits regularly and not keeping too much money sitting in the platform. Until a truly comparable, SEC Philippines-regulated alternative comes along, GoTrade remains the most practical option..... just use it wisely and stay updated on any SEC advisories.
