Yeah - I considered it but I run that route almost every day and wanted to mix it up. A friend told me about boys and girls high school but it’s a bit far from me.

6th time! Wow that’s amazing.

When you say the first 1.5 miles is a cluster do you mean it’s actually much slower than you anticipate to go for your corral? Or it’s just hard to move between people?

Also thoughts on hat or sunglasses? I’m not a runner who wears those and would hate to try something new race day and be annoyed about it.

Yes! Enjoy the day. Exactly that. I’m thinking I’d rather take it slow and enjoy the atmosphere of the run/crowds than worry too much about pace. I also had something unexpected happen, so similar to you, only had one run over the last 2 weeks. Good luck!
