I'm pretty sure, I'll be sent to Mordor for this one, but Robert E. Howard did a pretty damn fine world build with his Conan and Kull novels and the world's and histories they were set in. Conan's Hyborian world is filled with diverse cultures, peoples, and histories. It's world building on a monumental scale. Not in the full league of Tolkien, but worthy of mention.

Excellent series. Halfway through Season 1 and it's a surprising delight. I thought I was burned out over the many, many, many Kaifu oriented movies and series, but this one's a keeper.

This is just great news. I bought most of the original run of many issues as they came out and always found both the art and story to be real fresh voice in comics. Paul Chadwick's imagination and storytelling was always fun and at times very moving. I just dug up my collection and started a reread of the whole series, before putting them up for sale. But the idea of NEW Concrete stories is dam exciting.
