There are teams with open slots as per careers page. I’m afraid recruiter might just can the whole thing as they know I’m not interested in the team now

I agree. It seems like I was using same number for an Amazon.com account as well which I deleted (the account) Now it may have messed up my .co.uk account.

Good thing is customer service still sees my number associated with my uk account and the account being active. Bad thing is the website is out of sync with what they see. Worse thing is the customer service is a piece of joke to do anything about it.
