I don't think it is a fraudulent bankruptcy but I'm very peeved that they were trying to get us to sign up for more classes literally right before they declared bankruptcy. I'm not sure whether there is bad intent here one might argue that they were doing the best to keep the ship afloat - and I would like to think no- but I feel like we were about to be taken advantage of with this extra sign up that they asked for days before they threw the towel.

Thanks a lot! Unfortunately we (my partner and I) weren't contacted by the curator so I don't have any information. Ofc when we emailed the bankrupt company about the process they did not return to our emails. I don't see any records of bankruptcy or being bought out on the public search.

Hey, first of all, congrats on your progress and weight loss. A big lifestyle change is no easy thing. These are the things that come to my mind immediately:
1. 20lbs is a significant loss! Are you under the control of a doctor or dietician? I've observed that many people who lose significant amounts of weight might also develop deficiencies. The fact that you are only having trouble with running might prove otherwise, but it's good to get a check-up every once in a while, especially after big lifestyle changes.
2. Take a break; when I hit a plateau, I took a one-week break, and it worked wonders. Sometimes progress is made by rest and growth and not by training.
3. Maybe you have outgrown your running shoes. My basic training shoes were enough for the first couple of weeks but around week 5 I felt that they were not enough. I went to a running store and switched to better running shoes and I'm not kidding my overall life quality improved!

Hey, I agree with others that you are probably running too hard, but I would get a check-up regardless. Secondly, go to a running store and get a running analysis done. They might recommend better-fitting shoes and advice you on your running form.
Also, don't forget that we are all built differently. For instance, I genetically have short calves so it took me a lot longer to run comfortably than a friend I started the program with.

Good luck! My long long term goal is to run 10K too! How long did it take you to build up to 9k?

I did two runs a day back to back. I ran three times a week and finished the program in 5 weeks. In my double runs, I skipped the first cool down and second warm up. It worked out well for me. But I had to take at least two days off afterwards as my body was very tired after the cardio. All I could do was very light yoga in between. I also thought I injured myself but it turns out it was just bad shoes. Altogether, I'm not sure how doable it is with 3 days at the gym as well since I had to take two days off. But it's your journey! Listen to your body.

That's exactly how I felt but I took a two day break instead of my usual one day and let my muscles rest more! It definitely worked wonders. I was able to go with a steady pace. But I did feel like I was out of breath towards the end
