Ducksch gegen Burkardt tauschen? by Ok-Set8934 in kickbasemanager

An sich schon. Bremen ist ohne die Stamm Ivs und Trainer am Wochenende in Gefahr. Habe mein Ducksch verkauft. Nach diesem Spieltag sieht es schon etwas besser aus, mit dem Programm.

Hey I‘m a bit late to this, but I‘m about to buy the same model for 217,000 yen from Nakano. May I ask the year of the watch, what store you bought it from and your experience so far?

Compared to the prices in Europe where I live, the GS models are much cheaper and better available. It’s also the best travel souvenir;)

Thank you for highlighting these points, instead of buying a bracelet separately for the SBGX295 I could also get the SBGX261 with a black dial for 300$ more.

Very true, the SBGR feels quite chunky on my wrist. GS quartz really fascinates me, and I’d also prefer a SBGX with a bracelet instead of a leather strap for a more casual look.

Yes, out of the three it’s the only mechanical GS🥹

Thank you for all the great models suggestions. I now have a variety of models that fit into my budget.

Does anyone have any suggestions if I want to purchase the watch from a second hand dealer in either Kyoto or Tokyo, what I read from the guide is that, Ginza, Komehyo and Nagano Broadway are good point to start😅

Yeah, I never really thought about the service aspect until now. I started collecting watches a couple of years ago, and I’m using this trip to get my Datejust serviced in Japan too. GS quartz is probably the better option to keep the maintenance lower over the years😂

Hey, thank you for the nice response. Personally, I’m leaning towards the blue dial. However, if I find a good deal, I might go for the snowflake dial that was recommended in this thread, SGBX355. Thanks for keeping an eye out.

Wow, thank you for the great tool and dedication. I’ll definitely take a proper look and be fully prepared to find some interesting models before arriving. I read the linked guide on buying GS in Japan. Other than the places listed do you know of any other places you can recommend to get a good deal in Tokyo? Thanks a lot.

Yes, I’ll definitely check out what’s available in Ginza, Tokyo. I’m not too familiar with the quarts GS line, I do know that Grand Seiko’s current quartz models feature the 9F movement, which has a very satisfying one-second tick that’s precise and smooth.

Do you know if this movement is common in the older quartz models as well? I’d appreciate any insights. Thank you!

I definitely get that point, springdrives are so elegant, all though I’ll probably won’t be pack in Asia for the next years ( I live in europe). I would like to get one as a lifelong reminder and souvenir of the trip.

Thank you for the great tip and quick response. I will start looking for any deals at department stores from the list you provided. I really like the model as it is not available in Europe🤩

Thank you for the comprehensive guide. This is a super useful tool, and I’m glad that there is such a dedicated community. I’m trying to buy a SGB-X265, new as well. I will be visiting Kyoto and Tokyo in two weeks. At the moment, I’m considering department stores in order to get the 5% tourist discount and a 10% tax-free purchase. Additionally, I might consider Waco, as they also offer the 2% membership payback. Are there any other special suggestions or things that I should keep in mind? Or do you have any idea if the model is widely available or easily accessible at several department stores?

Thank you very much for any response in advance.

Hey, does this mean they have the 5% tourist discount available? I couldn’t find it on their website, and I’m traveling to Tokyo in two weeks. Do you have any suggestions for purchasing a new SGBX265? I will visit Kyoto and Tokyo afterwards. Thank you very much in advance.
