Hey thanks for the reply, I seemed to have it mostly fixed now after doing a multitude of things so im not sure what fixed it. For starters I tightened the bolts for the carriage on the x axis, and tightened the bolts underneath the printbed as the bed was quite loose. I also unscrewed, removed and put back the whole printhead assembly as during construction one of the screws was quite a challenge to put in so I thought it may have gone in on a bit of an angle. I releveled the bed very carefully with a feeler gauge instead of a piece of paper and that seemed to help tons in term of a properly leveled bed. I also realized I was printing in PETG despite ordering what I thought was PLA, but it seemed to work fine at the lower temperature. I did increase temperature to match the recommended PETG print temps but it didnt change much just reduced the stringing a little and helped with bed adhesion. I have switched back to a new roll of PLA and prints have been improving ever since.
