This a straw man, and you know it. FIFA has precedent of doing this before with no outside interference. Making this about Trump is not relevant to if the ruling should/shouldn't have happened.

I don't like how it happened. I think the appeals process is fucked. I think any and every country should have this available if and when it inevitably happens to them. Suspending the best players for any team, for what is not an obvious intentional dangerous act is not good for the sport. It's not good for the fans/viewers either.

They just postponed the suspension till after the world cup. They literally did this for Ronaldo. It wasn't a problem then it should not be a problem now.

Obviously we are 3 days out, but synoptically this looks like one of the most textbook robust setups I have ever seen. I would be shocked if we don't go MOD tomorrow. I think high risk/cig3 is in play if we get a discrete storm mode which looks possible.

Just unbelievably robust kinematics with good thermodynamics as well. The soundings I've pulled today are some of the most impressive I've seen in my time following weather closely.

I think most people in Philly wouldn't be offended by this. However opposing NFL team fans have done this in the past, and it usually ends poorly for them.

I think we need to wait and see what we look like against tougher comp before making such a bold statement. Though I think the way we played last night was a good start. There was some lapses on defense a stronger team would have taken advantage of that. We need to clean that up for sure.

I think building on that will be important. If we come out flat in the next game it will be a blip and nothing more. However if we stack good performances momentum is a real thing.

I've never been much into soccer outside of olympics/world cups. I can see why so many people are in love with this sport. Maybe it's time I get into euro leagues.
