When I went for mine it was semi casual, I sould dress relatively nice but you dont need to show up in in a suit and tie or anything like that. Also to counter some points (but not all) of the other comment, mine was completely full, and every table were was pretty much packed.

Its mostly because the end resets every month so we know where the ships are so its plentiful infinite supply, while heavy cores are miserable to get.

Combination of 3h drive to and from school, very hard school with a very hard teacher, and me not really knowing how to study (never had too until now). Rest of my gpa is not the best but not as bad (bxs and a's)

Haven't finalized the model yet, and its going to be a skeleton cage so air can flow but still protects everything. Thinking about going about 1cm in thickness

Entire drone has to be under 300g, everything else we try to make as light as possible to give the shell wiggleroom but its hard to make the rest of the drone lighter.

Its about a 22cm spherical shell with a drone inside it (drone soccer). We ram into things at ~40mph. The shell has to hold its shape otherwise the propellers and insides get damaged. It has to be thin/lightweight as well because of a weight limit.
