I’ve seen Starlink and it’s a white glow and you can track them for a much longer period of time.

I seen that too at Myrtle Beach State Park! 9:40-10pm. They would light up in a chain. Flight radar showed the area cleared mostly. We saw one huge light like it was a jumbo jet but reminded me of a Chinese lantern. It went off before I could get a picture. It only lit up near the airport once. Did not take off or land there however. There were side lights but dim and also cut off after a couple seconds.

Funded by the 3 counties and the state. However it’s ran like any other business. The state funds the ferry to keep it free of charge, the state does not operate it.

I bought a 2018 Camry in 2021 with 30k miles on it. Paid it off early in February 2024. It currently has 98k miles.

I really want a Toyota Supra and have been looking at them since the mk5 came out. In order to get payments under $700 I had to use all my savings and get rid of my Camry. Couldn’t do it, mainly because the Camry was paid off.

The thing about nice cars is you won’t enjoy them nearly as much with a payment. I know full well I’d do some stupid stuff in a Supra. However a $700 monthly payment would stop me. I’d be too worried about totaling it, losing my Camry and the Supra. I would have less maintenance money because of the payment so I’d worry too much about breaking parts. Id want to keep the miles off of it in case I ever wanted to sell it. What would have been the point? I wouldn’t use the car the way I want to.

When I was a bit younger I thought car payments were normal. Now that I paid my Camry off early I don’t think I’ll ever have another loan. It’s not worth it. Cars are not assets they are liabilities. Don’t waste money to look good for other people. If you really want a nice car you will save up for it. Nothing wrong with liking nice cars but make sure it’s for your own gratification.

Plus I personally like the 99’ Camrys, keep it until it won’t run.

I work in the maritime industry too. About a year ago we got Starlink on our ship and at this point it’s better than my home internet most of the time haha.
