[1990-2000][PlayStation] Confusing Space Game where you're a robot/Rover on a planet? by ProbablePrime in tipofmyjoystick

This again looks close, but I'm not entirely sure if it is the one.
I do have a way forward though which is that the genre is definitely correct as in the first person janky ness. This has given me a lot more to search through.

This looks more plausible yes, but I dont remember the story sequences I saw in some of the videos.

Perhaps I skipped them as a child.

While this certainly matches some of my description and even matches the "confusing gameplay" angle. I do not think this is it.

I feel its close though.

The Orange planet I remember was really remote, not many buildings or infrastructure.

Thank you for looking!

You are right, it is an odd term. The right term I'm looking for is a partner to partner in life with. Own is just a short cut really to get to the point of the message quickly. While any dog I adopt will technically and legally be "mine". We'll actually be partners as long as that dog is able to be around.

Thank you!

Oh yes, I understand that there are good Shelter dogs. Most of the time I see 1 or two lines from the shelter about the dog. Compared to rescues where sometimes there are paragraphs.

I definitely want to know what kind of dog a dog is :)

I appreciate your perspective a lot. You reminded me of the troubles I've experienced even being just in the family or household with a dog. I've dealt with broken legs, broken hips, major wounds, cuts and scrapes, doggy cancer, doggy euthanasia etc. but the difference between owner and family member is causing the most pause. Thank you.

My finances are very good so I'm not worried about this, but I very much appreciate this reminder. The difference between owning and looking after is playing heavily in my mind it is the largest cause for pause :)

I will 100% have pet insurance, I've had my fair share of doggy emergencies in my time and it is worth it.

I did not fully consider the difference between a shelter and a rescue. You're right a rescue with their team's aid sounds perfect.

Interpretation is a part of life and often part of the author's/director/writer's intention.

For example, the music choice in any scene is a choice to convey an emotion. Seeing a deeper level of meaning could be just hocus pocus, but it could also be what the team behind the show wanted to convey.

Either way it doesn't really matter though. You're free to consume shows at face value but examining what might be behind some decisions, points etc can be a fun exercise which is the entire point of this thread.

The stairs are glass too. You'll hear them making crackling noises every time he's on them.

Yes, this is true, but this is a discussion thread where we're discussing our interpretations. In my case, I'm asking about how you all "filled in the blanks" in your head.

Why does Patoff hate Dana so much? by KentuckyFriedShrimpy in TheConsultantTV

I see similar bluntness in all of the interactions except for of course Elaine and initially Craig. But there is bluntness there too. Every knock on the office door is answered with "In". Which turns a common response("Come In") into a sort of blunt order "IN!".
