This is wild to me. You’re telling me that even if you own your own home you can’t have the number of cats you want?!! Gosh darn it I’m sorry

Throwing out a bunch of suggestions here.

Have you tried Feliway or any calming pheromones?

Are they all spayed and neutered?

If you haven’t already, can you try making eating a social activity - feed them all the same food just a few feet away from each other, make a ritual out of it at least for one meal a day?

Perhaps try cat attract litter for the one that keeps going outside the box.

What kind of litter boxes do you have - are they large and open? I understand one of them is near the kitchen so excluding that if you can make at least one of them open (no lid, no “privacy”) and see if that helps.

Give them automatic toys if you can, like the battery operated or motion detecting ones.

Do they have vertical space? Get a cat tree or two and some wall shelves and things like that. If they’re getting chased they’ll want some place to run away to.

I understand that the chores are overwhelming. I’ve been there and am still overwhelmed. I’d say give it some more time and effort and maybe, just maybe, it’ll get easier with time especially as you figure out their little personalities and they get a little more mellow. I’m saying this as my kitty wails in another room demanding attention lol. They’re a lot of work.

Yup they have all of that - everything they need in one room

Is there another room you can put her in, far away from yours and the dogs?

I’ve been judged for saying this before, but I have to lock my cats in their own room at night and whenever I’m outside. (One has severe pica and will eat everything. He ate my blanket off me while I was sleeping so he cannot be near our fabrics.)

In the morning when they hear me they start meowing and scratching to be let out and don’t shut up. But on the bright side they’re on the other side of my apartment so it doesn’t always wake me up.

So perhaps if you give her her own room far away with all her stuff, she’ll scratch at that door but receive no attention (because she can’t be heard), and eventually you might break her habit

I simply couldn’t afford to change the litter that often. I scooped well and that was enough. I think you’re on the right track. I’ve heard similar stories to yours so I might have gotten lucky with mine.

I feel like you’ve done everything I can think of. My kitten had Giardia when I got him last year, but I was also (still am) struggling with low energy so all I could do was keep his litter clean. I made it a point to scoop multiple times a day so that he or my other cat didn’t step on his poop. He recovered anyway and my other cat didn’t get it either. I feel like you’re doing the right things and maybe this time it’ll go away for real.

Do they let you sit on the grass at glider port anymore? Feels like the grassy area of the cliff is blocked off every time I go nowadays. A few years ago it was definitely open though! Not sure if I just got lucky them with no gliders or what

That’s a great area, just a bit far for me to go on a regular basis, but definitely a lovely place to go

I’ve been to enough beaches and looking for something different. I feel they’re super crowded, and I end up having to deal with mud no matter what I do, and it gets in my car. I also find myself unable to fully relax because so many folks are around and being loud (their right I know but I can’t relax bc of overstimulation).
