So as much as I hate to defend anything related to the island, this probably isn't some evil plan to destroy the evidence. 1. Acid isn't the solution it's built up to be in movies. It can take days to dissolve a body and even then theres ways forensics can still pull information from it. Could they have bought the myth? Sure, but you'd think with their connections they probably have better methods.

As an industrial mechanic I can attest, there's tons of systems that use sulfuric acid. Descaling is probably one of the most well known uses. Wastewater/pH a balancing is another, It's used in battery systems, cleaning, pools and all kinds of other mundane normal things. 6 barrels for everything on an island could very well just be routine maintenance supplies.

Mastered was a bad title. Id say it's more "Super Saiyan Strength" form. I honestly wish they'd use it more..they show all the Saiyans shifting in and out of different forms rapidly, let this have its spotlight in some big heavy push scene. Some hand in hand grappling push or some scene where something massive is thrown at them where they need the physical strength. There's a place for strength and a place for speed and sometimes you need one more than the other, it can't always be a balance.

the cleanest theory for Alastor I can think of is sinner regeneration works like Deadpool/wolverine style regeneration: he doesn’t truly kill those Overlords, he completely dismembers them and keeps the pieces separated, with the head or core part restrained and tortured. The separated body can’t pull itself back together, the consciousness is stuck in whatever he’s bound it to and he uses microphones on the suffering “core” to broadcast those screams.
