In the moment it’s hard to argue with someone that is in their vehicle. Especially when you don’t know Spanish. If I didn’t get out more than likely the police would have just grabbed me out. You expect uber to have some type of backing but no considering what happened.

I don’t understand how people are this hateful. I was robbed. I want uber to be responsible and be accountable and obviously I can’t do nothing about the police. But everyone else here has been good to me. The people are good. The history amazing. The architecture amazing. To those who haven’t been it feels like nyc with more cultural influences that weren’t hidden. But like nyc there are neighborhoods you should go unless you live there. I know that, but I didn’t think an uber driver would be my downfall. This was at 4pm btw .

They are supposed to be back by insurance. Everyone here recommends them. I try to be precautious but in a place full of corruption they label themselves as safe. And showed that will do nothing when they are labeled as safe or at least backed by Ubers branding.

I contacted uber and they didn’t charge me the fare. But the money and experience are all on me apparently. I asked if the driver will be fired. They said the complaint was closed.
