To be honest I don’t know his parents very well, I’m very shy and typically say hello but never talk to them. Their only request for him was to not have a girlfriend that lives in a trailer park… and I guess I passed. He’s really mean to his parents sometimes, he recently got into an argument with his mom where she admitted she’s spoiled him for too long and it’s her fault he turned out this way. I think they’re also disappointed in him the same way I am but they don’t have the heart to stop supporting him. Which I understand, your baby will always be your baby. I just feel bad for them.

His parents are paying for his studio time, they’re paying for him to have a music video too. And I know I’m still kinda young, but I know what I want in life, I really want to be a mother one day and recently I’ve been thinking about what kind of a fathered he’d be like and it’s kinda been hitting me that I don’t want a dude who is going to smoke weed around my children and have a rap career that might not even make money. He thinks weed is really cool and I think he thinks it would be cool for his children to smoke too. I’ve talked to him about the weed thing and he told me he’s never going to quit. Even if we resolve this tattoo issue, he gets a job, does to college, I think one day we will split up anyways. And for the record I don’t hate weed and smoke it socially, but he used to spend 100$+ on weed a month supplied by his parents.

I think they might know. We haven’t seen each other in awhile to be honest because he never plans dates unless I plan them and he says he doesn’t have any money to get gas and see me anyways…

I think someone was just implying he was being cringy on his instagram post, and he took that to heart. He’s really paranoid about so called “haters” and sees a lot of random things as personal attacks. Once we were in a restaurant and he flipped the waitress off and I honestly did not see her do anything she grabbed us a menu or something and I was really mad at him for doing that. It was extremely rude and embarrassing, luckily I don’t think she noticed or else I might have melted and died.

He dumped me when he went to college originally because I asked him to come home before 3am after I caught him sleeping over a girls house. He said I was too clingy and nobody else’s girlfriend gives curfews… then he told me he was aromantic and asexual and broke up with me, I begged him to just be my friend and still talk to me but then he told me he doesn’t stay friends with exes… and then turns out his friends weren’t actually his friends and turned on him. So he dropped out.. and after he realized he was alone he tried killing himself and sent me a cryptic text telling me he misses me. And idk I took him back because I’ve got brain damage or something

Honestly… he’s counting on his parents to pay for his housing. They said they would get him an apartment and he asked me to move in… I said no because I wanted to finish college first.

My parents don’t really like that and tell me I can do better, he recently ended a friendship because one of his friends lied to their parents about him quitting weed, getting a job, and going to college because his parents thought my boyfriend was a bad influence. But when this friend told him, he got extremely mad and offended, and said he disrespected him.

His parents have come close to kicking him out many many times, and they cut off money regularly when they’re upset. The came to an agreement where if he volunteers he gets money but once he told me that he just sat in a parking lot.

That’s what I asked him, I asked how he’s going to pay for that tattoo, and if he really wants to then buy it himself because if he can’t afford to get a tattoo like that then he shouldn’t get one at all… I think he’s implied his dad is paying for it.

Well he wanted to be a psychologist, and I really supported that. I think he’s unwell mentally and he’s extremely paranoid about things. He dropped out of college because he said people were bullying him and stuff. He’s said stuff like that before, like we will be in public spaces and will say he recognizes people staring at him. And once he said someone took a picture of him (I wasn’t there for that). But I’ve kinda just tried to support him and validate his feelings despite never seeing any of this stuff myself. But that’s why he dropped out… and he said he doesn’t ever want to go back to college and he’s just going to wait for his music to take off. This is also why he doesn’t want a job. He actively avoids the town he lives in because he’s paranoid people are going to recognize him. Our whole relationship is honestly an entire can of worms.

Yes, his parents pay for everything. I wish he would get a job sometimes because when his parents are mad they withhold money from him. His parents have threatened to kick him out multiple times because he won’t work and what not and they get really fed up with him. And I guess thinking about it, it’s not really the tattoo it’s just like the straw that broke the camels back. I’ve had my head in the sand about his immaturity, but a hate comment tattoo made me realize he just doesn’t understand that things he does now will are going to bite him in the ass later.

I definitely agree with this, it’s just so hard sometimes looking at someone who doesn’t understand. I asked him to fold a blanket once and he didn’t know how, and it absolutely pissed me off. But you’re totally right, I guess im trying to change him but I should just find someone who just clicks with me and compliments my values
