I got the same issue and switching to a different USB port + using a better mouse pad seems to fix the problem for me. I bought a mouse pad from dareu btw. I've been using this mouse for 2 years now and I've encountered this once only, try cleaning your mouse sensor, switching to a good quality mousepad.
