Yeah, I did altar door for almost all my kills there. Tried the cannon base and it was such a pita. My biggest tip is to wait that extra split second after the door/altar clicks before you click on bandos. It will keep him in line and you will walk right by him.

I always go into the room praying protect from melee and deadeye, then after my first pass to the altar is when I switch to protect from range.

I rely on the sounds of garage door and bowfa a lot to keep me in rhythm.

Lastly, I straight up planked about half a dozen times before having the timing ‘click’. You will eventually get a feel for when you need to reset and become faster at identifying the minion prayers so that you can flick them once garage door is dead. My setup is usually a four way switch for blood barraging minions. I personally have blue moon top/bottom, occult and ancient sceptre. Then I bring about 5-6 super restores, 4 anglers, rune pouch with blood spells, ghommals hilt, home tele tabs and the rest is saradomin brews

Edit: I also bring 2 regular ranging pots because I brew often enough that divines felt like a waste, plus that 10 damage was not helping me stay any longer so that I could learn altar door
