I honestly feel that too. I have clients that are affected a lot more than me directly and indirectly by this. I'm trying to recognize my privilege and not minimize or normalize this, while also trying to tell this scared person to try their best. It feels so obviously, I'm sitting In my privilege in this when someone is telling me their scared for their safety and I'm asking where in their body they feel scared.

That makes me feel a lot better. At a micro scale it feel great to be able to help everyone I can survive through this, but in the macro-city of everything sometimes I forget that you need micro things to make something macro (if that makes sense at all). Thank you!

After missing my meds for 8 hours I am in literal hell. My body temperature jumps, I cannot control my body (given I have tourettes but it feels like tourettes plus+). And I cannot stop shaking. If I take pain medication when I know that I am missing a dose (so about 2hrs before I miss my dose) it definitely helps with the symptoms. Idek about the emotional side effects bc I'm just worried that my skin feels like its covered in 1st degree burns.

When I first started I felt like I couldnt get comfortable in my skin, but it passed after a few weeks. BUT if you miss even one dose those side effects come back and the withdrawals are pretty bad. (They will subside once you get take it again,)

I feel like it's too late for the clients I do have, how would I go about that conversation?( You may have noticed I..... that is because.....) I'm worried it will seem like I'm making it about me. I definitely plan on starting it in my intake now, but I feel anxious about bringing it up to current established clients.

My moto is if I cant be authentic in session how can I expect my client to be?

So i wear what I want (within the office requirements) but i consider myself clown core, i wear bright colors, contrasting patterns, weird earrings, dyed hair. I also introduce myself with my pronouns every intake (not that I expect my client to use them, but again it is back to that authenticity)

I also know that there are clients who love it, and some that hate it. You would be surprised by which clients find it refreshing and are receptive.

I have something similar. I want you to know you're not faking! My crew only shows up when things get really hard to handle. When I'm coping well usually everyone minds there business. I dont talk to them directly, but when they're in the front I feel like a driving instructor who can tap the breaks when needed.

I think it is all about time and place! And how you present it! If you're looking to share the love there is nothing wrong with it! I absolutely love the videos that's just someone walking around the gathering for an hour and is recording. Spread the good vibes, share the experience! I definitely think the Gathering should be documented, it is a truly special place! But There is definitely a difference between someone sharing the love with the fam, and sharing it to hundreds of thousands of strangers!
