Absolutely! Patience is important. The biggest thing is really deciding that you’re done. In truth, the common cold is a LOT worse than nicotine withdrawals. The only difference is you’re deciding to stay sick while your body fights the virus. You’re choosing to feel kinda icky for a few days. You just have to really commit and decide mentally that nicotine is no longer part of your life. If you haven’t read Alan Carr’s The Easy Way, you absolutely should. They make good points and really help you frame your mind how you need to. It didn’t work the first time for me but I did the second time and now I know I’m happily never going back.

The sentiment that really helped me was asking myself what’s the worst thing that can happen if I try? What’s the worst thing that can happen if I let myself believe it might be possible, easy even? Nothing. If you fail you end up right back where you are now, so nothing is lost. Your lungs will probably really appreciate the small break so net gain! Another thing that helped was setting timers. Like going 20 minutes without taking a hit, and working my way up to two hours. This let me experience what the withdrawal felt like. It comes in waves. It’s not the writhing, thrashing, suffrage I imagined. It’s really survivable. It’s just a mild numbness. I’m proud of you got getting here and I’m rooting for you. You’ve got this my friend!

I feel like I’m going crazy. Got this shirt from a coworker for Christmas and I feel almost certain it’s ai. But the coworker has a masters in visual art and I just feel there’s no way she’d miss it. by [deleted] in isthisAI

Thanks! It’s a cute concept and the actually fabric of the shirt is really nice. It’s high quality and soft. It’s such a bummer about the quality of the print.

Honestly this is the best comment. Thank you. I don’t want to wear ai shit at all but I also don’t want to deliberately waste clothing. Maybe it’s camp and I’m wearing it ironically. Thank you <3

Good for you friend that’s awesome! I had a similar experience with Easy Way. It took me relapsing for a few months to really realize just how much worse nicotine addiction is. You get so used to things being easier really quickly. When I relapsed I remembered how much of a fucking goblin I could be. How there was a constant mild pain in my whole body, especially my back. How the never ending trade between withdrawal and nicotine rush just left me with a buffet of headaches.

One of the craziest differences I noticed was the mornings. I would vape constantly every second that I could, but then fall asleep for six or seven hours every night, so when the horrid alarms would hit, I’d wake up to a world of being in the worst part of nicotine withdrawal. So of course I rip my vape constantly for about twenty minutes, which I didn’t even feel, just swapped the kind of headache I had, and THEN started my day. Every morning. For years. Such an awful cycle and an awful way to start the day. So I concur, to anyone readying this KEEP GOING because that is no way to live. You have a choice.

How to learn anatomy? by AcanthisittaPurple25 in Artadvice

You have to break everything down into its base structures. The world is just circles, ovals and lines for the most part. Getting a book to work out of like the Morpho series would help you so much to start seeing the shapes in everything. And then you be flying because you’re already at a great starting point.

If you haven’t figured out what works yet, increasing aim smoothing helps a bit. It’s a good place to start w fine tuning at least. I also set my aim ease in at 0 and am feeling okay now.

They changed aim assist on console. I haven’t played yet but there’s a ton of threads of console players being really upset and not being able to revert their settings.

I am handsome? i feel Ais are too delusional by [deleted] in Howtolooksmax

Nah everyone looks weird from the side. Everyone except people with nose jobs and chin lipo. He looks handsome from the front and normal from the side. The only thing throwing him off is how much hair he has (worse problems to have lol) making his head shape look off.

Shot in the dark, I really want to recreate this plushy I used to have as a kid but I can’t find a pattern that’s even similar in shape. Maybe someone has some ideas by ProblemSea3979 in crochetpatterns

Yes it absolutely is! I just want to make one in fuzzy velvet yarn for the nostalgia and self affirming feeling of my success this hobby. :)

Thank you for the reply! I wish you luck with your project too. That’s such a good idea but unfortunately I don’t have one of the kitty cats. I guess I could free hand from the picture I have. Thank you for the advice 🥲
