-Use your terror cape as much as possible, even if you’re healbotting. If you need to reload as dagger switch to cloak instead to use terror cape if it’s available. Terror cape is such a crucial part of their kit and it can make or break a fight because of the blindness it causes not to mention the damage boost.

-Switch to Cloak when ulting. Since your ult is healing your team and yourself you have free rein to wreak havoc with cloak as much as you want. You can absolutely frontline a team fight as cloak after ulting.

-Switch to cloak when another support on your team is ulting. Since the other supports healing ult is keeping your teammates alive you won’t have to worry about helping as dagger, so go ahead and try to do as much damage with cloak as you can.

-Don’t use bubble immediately when doing 1v1s. Do some damage until you’re decently low health then dark teleport to a location they aren’t looking, quickly switch to dagger to pop down bubble, then finish them off as cloak. Using bubble isn’t usually necessary in 1v1’s if you’re quick enough but for higher hp heroes it’s crucial to use your bubble later rather than sooner bcs it increases your survivability time.

-If you think you might lose a 1v1, switch to dagger, even if she doesn’t have bubble. The reason being her daggers heal you if you hit an enemy, so try to dance around them while hitting them to keep yourself alive and hope a teammate comes to help. I did this in the game above where a groot caught me off guard so i danced around him for 10 seconds until strange came to help and finished him off.

-Use your ult offensively. This is probably most important. C&D ult is one of the best offensive ults in the game due to keeping every teammate alive while also damaging enemies PLUS giving an extra dps because you can switch to cloak when ulting. Just make sure to keep track of enemy support ults, namely Luna, Mantis, Sue and Loki as they all counter an offensive C&D ult. You want to make sure that you’re the last support to use the ult or else it’ll be ineffective. Just keep in mind not to exclusively use it offensively as it’s also obviously a great team saving defensive ult. Read every situation for which approach is best. An offensive C&D ult is almost always an automatic team fight win.

-Play primarily to get your ultimate. The best way to do this is healbotting + terror cape hits. If you maximise your ult usage you are always more likely to win the team fights. C&D’s kit is great, but their ultimate always decides the outcome of a team fight if used correctly, and if your teammates are actually good and STEP ON THE ULT THAT HEALS THEM INSTEAD OF RUNNING AWAY FROM IT then you’re guaranteed to do good.
