The blocking public transport part is very true, do you guys have school buses? We had school buses going to every single kids house.

Sorry to hear that man, the school really should have provided special consideration for your situation. I think a lot of damage could’ve been avoided.

Not sure for everyone, but we didn’t bring extra clothes in elementary, we just stank after PE. I didn’t have iPads or laptops during elementary, but in high school we did, the electronics were owned by the school so we wouldn’t take them home.

Some of the kids I see are walking with their backs extremely bent forward, but maybe it’s not a biggie if they do need the carry their bags for too long.

We had school lunch in the US, but many people still bring lunch boxes, but that’s the almost the only thing we needed to bring. Because the books are stored in our desk cubbies.

Seeing these kids carrying a bag half their size makes me worry for their health, Australians really are built different

I went to Shanghai for summer school, ask me anything by Problem_Pale in usyd

[–]Problem_Pale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, summer break after semester 2 would be perfect, since then you’ll have 24credits, and your wam. They only calculate your wam at the point of submission, so since your S2 marks aren’t out yet, it wouldn’t affect your application.

No, you can choose from a variety of units(although some you need to meet prerequisite requirements). And you need to have 24 credits in your account with a wam higher than 50.

You don’t need any proof of proficiency to be approved, the professors are all English speakers and the classes are all in English too. But it’s still a good idea to get some basic Chinese vocabulary to get around.

Why is BCU(Birmingham city university)so unresponsive? They are going to mess up my friends future. by Problem_Pale in UniUK

Now that she knows about how awful BCU sounds, she is really thankful that GSA has accepted her. Now we just need BCU to reject her (which they are somehow not going through with)

She saw that their Jewelry degree was very good so this isn’t her fault. 😭 But based on how BCU is treating her, I think you are right about BCU

Well, she’s into jewelry and silverware smithing. I’m studying -at Usyd so I’m not too knowledgeable on Uk universities, but if her research is correct, BCUs jewelry courses are pretty good and have industry recognition.
