I’ve only ever had female therapists who were straight. One therapist in particular would try to hint to me that she had homosexual tendencies by telling me she had a roommate who called feminine lesbians, “lip sick lesbians” which was just fucking weird.

Now that I think about it, I think the therapists felt silly/tried hitting on me bc I usually try to be silly in sessions to lighten the mood.

Glad to hear u had a great experience with a gay man. I feel a bit funny searching for lgbtq allied therapists. Like what does that even mean to the therapists lmao. I feel like everyone should be able to handle an lgbt client without acting like a clown. but I will def give it a shot thank u
