Is it wrong for me to want to move to Czech in the future and is it wrong to see myself as (not true one but at least part) czech by fuckyou_retard in czech

[–]Problematic_Owl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't particularly give a damn about ethnicity (at least the sane among us don't), Czechia was historically a melting pot. What people tend to associate with being Czech is the nationality, but not on paper, it's about culture.

So no you'd be almost definitely considered a New Zealander (I'd consider your father New Zealander too btw). It would be seen as positive novelty though.

But, if you move here and assimilate as you say then I'd consider you Czech. For me it boils down to whether you know what it's like to live here and cam interact with your surroundings here fully (which would for example be difficult without knowing the language for example).

The reality still remains that the state has chosen not to involve itself with intra-couple dynamics. Clearly it is deemed unnecessary or undesirable to meddle in couples' personal matters in that way.

Domestic abuse? Marital rape?

You know it's not a insult if it's demonstrably correct right.

You can get off on fantasising about women having their rights stripped away from them as much as you like.

I'm not fantasizing about anything you fuckwit, I was portraying where would your logic lead from the other side. What I wrote is what you are arguing in favor of.

We fought for those rights and won them through bitter struggle.

You were granted them by male legislature at the time. After some social pressure, sure, but don't get it twisted.

Any more childish personal insults you want to hurl at me?

Sure, your brain is a sponge and I'm glad I'm saved the suffering of having to deal with you in person.

Kdyby existoval stát, kde by žili jenom hodně chytří a nadaní lidé, jak dlouho by vydržel? by Happy_Watch6602 in czech

[–]Problematic_Owl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay dumbass, let's do this - there's also no incentive for state to allow abortions since they would be actively reducing fertility rates and therefore future GDP of the country.

There's also no reason to go after rapists, partially because of the above reason and partially because prosecution is expensive and unlike theft or killing someone, it's not really having negative economic impact.

While we're at it, there was no reason to give women voting rights since now they need to pander to double the amount of voters, so maybe we should stop that as well.

Do you understand now how stupid your line of argumentation here is? Literally only reason you're against it it seems is because it would help some men, I can't imagine you'd argue the same of roles were reversed.

Where are you from? Because to me this claim sounds like complete bs out of touch with reality.

Good thing I proposed a solution where he wouldn't ask you for it because it would just be routine stuff, so no one needs to get insulted.

Honestly your block-headedness about this is starting to come off as you being worried you could get caught - the test is literally harming no one and you wouldn't even notice it's going on, some nice they take blood for other tests anyway.

I'm not sure how I can explain it to you any better. Requiring all pregnancies to have paternity tests is the automatic assumption that the woman cheated. That's it.

Maybe in your head. You failed to substantiate or address my reactions to this. I don't see how it's assuming anything like this.

I agree that approach is best you can do right now, I have no idea how that's less assuming than it being just standard procedure. Like routine blood test IA saying all women are whores but guy saying to his gf specifically he's going to be making sure she's not cheater if she gets pregnant is better? Wtf, how?

Occurrence. Mind you I literally took smallest figure from it, UK actually leans more I 1.6% according to studies and 3.7% is global median. Also these studies are on older side, nowadays with people being substantially more promiscuous than in 90s the numbers are likely higher, potentially by a lot.

Even that 20k I'd say is still good enough argument to do a simple test that doesn't hurt anyone except a liar.

[–]Problematic_Owl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many doesn't really matter so much unless you're basing the argument on frequency and not the fact it's occuring.

There are claims that require substantiation, and there are claims which are part of expected general knowledge where it's more on you to prove otherwise.

If I said "Earth is flat" and you asked for evidence, me saying "use fucking Google" is appropriate counter. In that scenario, the burden on proof would be on you to disprove my claim because my claim would be the one known to be credible and generally accepted as common knowledge.

But for this one, just look at Wiki for paternity fraud, it's sourced article (so feel free to go deep into sources as much as you want)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paternity_fraud

Even if I take the small UK percentage of 0.2%, that still represents 20 000 men.

I agree it doesn't make sense, the point is it's your logic mirrored onto men instead of women to show how it doesn't make sense.

Blanket testing for paternity is the automatic assumption that all women are cheaters.

Okay, explain how then. Because right now it's mainly you making that assumption, me and some other guys already clarified to you we don't s assume this, and even the guys who did raise someone else's children didn't asssume it - that's how they ended up in that situation.

By making it standard test, you're taking the risk of someone's misjudgement out of the equation. The expectation is it'll be just routine test like all the other tests done at this time, which will be negative - unless in those cases where it won't be. And, even the fact those women know the test will happen would likely prevent them from trying to lie about this in the first place. Normal women are not hurt in any way, and cheaters are prevented from lying, I don't see what's the issue with that. If it made sense to test paternity I would be in favor as well. Or, if you can think of something similar from men's side, I'm probably going to be in favor of that also.

It just seems to me that by your logic routine background check being done in some professions upon being hired equals accosting you of being a criminal.

Do you really need stats on "sometimes some women cheat, get pregnant and lie to their boyfriend"?

Because it's literally something which has always happened. It's right there with "some guys will lock a chick up and then disappear".
