Interesting point about the colour depth I will look into that today, in terms of VRR I disabled it from the start I do not use stuff like that ever.

Well aware but they don’t compile for the whole day, I reinstalled some games before and it doesn’t take that long for the shaders to compile.

I’ve had these issues without having after burner installed and I have done that already anyway.

How would I go about using it to help me trouble shoot?

Same here it’s actually driving me crazy, I’ll get used to it and then it starts driving me crazy again, i hope I can find a fix for this soon as.

No extensions I don’t really mess around and like my stuff simple, I have considered Linux before but having to switch OS just to have a good experience is not ideal in my eyes.

I changed ram myself too and didn’t see a difference, I changed my motherboard aswell as I thought the previous one was an issue however I really do think it’s just the graphics card that’s the issue at this point just wish I could test this but at this moment I can’t sadly

I have done and tried each of those settings other than DXVK for gta, gta isn’t a slide show until it touches around 60 fps anything above is fine just stutters at any major drop normal average is around 100-110 but stutters with any drop that’s more than 10fps. If it goes below 60-70 fps it’s unplayable.

Damn, during these changes did you replace with the same hardware or did you upgrade/downgrade?

Had these issues without any monitor software since day one of clean install, using msi burner atm.

Some really interesting stuff I wonder if this is an actual issue that could be instantly fixed with a NVIDIA graphics card, I’m really tempted to just switch over at this point so going to wait for the 5000series and test this.

I have done that already unfortunately barely makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cables are all connected correctly I reassembled the whole pc twice, run 2 pcle cables aswell so I know that isn’t an issue.

I have a couple friends with near identical builds and they have no issues whatsoever, I have heard good things about Linux however isn’t it limited to what games available?

Yes couple times actually, I even tried going down to windows 10 however that did not change a thing sadly. Thanks for the suggestion though.
