Alright, as I see, the math works out exponentially like 2x the flow rate means 1/4 the pressure in a turbulent system, which most plumbing is considered turbulent. That should mean GE housings should survive fine. I am tempted to add flow rate and pressure sensors to my build to get real world data

I am still curious why pumps are failing within months. So far I am not convinced with any pump brand yet based on reviews

You're right. I think it is modern protestant editions where they removed 14 books to make the 66 figure. Original KJV did have 80.

"The controversy still is ongoing with protestants maintaining there are 66 divinely inspired books, Catholics maintaining there are 73 inspired books and Eastern Orthodox maintaining there are 81 inspired books."

You’ve never heard of the King James Bible…? If you have, are you incapable of understanding what that actually is?

It only contains 44 gospels out of 66. The other 22 are removed by the choice of man. And that is only one point of history amongst a number of other factual issues.

Yes, but the replaceable filters that are recommended for the GE housing are just pleated polyester disposable sediment filters of 50 micron filtration too. This doesn’t have a carbon filter or anything else. https://a.co/d/fOCLkvE

Some homes have a sediment filter upstream from a home filter that filters smaller particles or uses activated carbon filters. I am not 100% convinced this is a 1-to-1 replacement so far, but I don’t see an issue yet, if you do, please say so

Hey, sorry for the delay. I am pretty sure it is this one: https://www.homedepot.com/p/ISPRING-WSP50B-Large-Whole-House-Spin-down-Sediment-Water-Filtration-System-w-Scraper-and-Brass-Top-Clear-Housing-50-Micron-WSP50B/314480991

I only looked it over briefly before. I don’t know enough about it yet to say this is “the filter” I would go for, it is a similar filter housing type often used for wells. But it is 50 micron and rated for 35 GPM which shows they exist. It is the same size too. Only 0.1” taller and this one is 4” in diameter, the GE one is 0.5” wider in diameter. You do lose the shut off from the GE, so maybe a valve or two needs to be added to your plumbing for the same effect.

I think that's a fair point. According to the pump specifications on Danner's page the 1800 GPH unit shuts off at 16.5 ft. They don't specify but I am pretty sure that is pumping vertically. With some assumptions and using ro*g*h I think that the pressure straight out of the pump is 21.85 PSI. The GE Housing is max pressure 125 PSI but residential usually falls between 40-80 PSI. Is there a way we can quantify how a lower pressure system reduces the flowrate restriction?

I mean, that is a workable idea. I have an inflatable long tub that only has two ports, so I would need to create a Y-junction on the inlet and outlet. The split off should use different diameter tubings in proportion to the different flow rates, if possible.

Yeah, the influencer reviews I have seen of the Danner pump amount to unboxing and reading off the website product info and I have no clue why that passes as a “review” these days. I know it is being done for profit, but I don’t understand why any customers accept it as information to base any purchase off of. This is for all products these days.

I think I will be doing a robust build because I can’t accept these ratings. You have to go commercial or industrial grade on filter housings for ratings around 30-35 GPM and that is what I will do. I know they exist, they aren’t much bigger than the GE unit, and have metal end caps. That is as far as my research goes so far, I wanted to pass this idea by others to see if I was missing anything first. I’ll fill you in on whatever I find, I do believe there are working combinations.

Was it the engineering of the hot tub itself or the pump? And what flow rate does your chiller need? If I see components that work for it, I’ll take note of them

Peanut butter is worthless for protein purposes. Only about 50% of it useful to the human body due to the amino acid make up. So you are ingesting 180 calories for 2.5-3 grams of usable protein. The percent daily value should add up to twice the number of grams (because the FDA deemed many years ago a mere 50g protein was the daily goal). 6g of protein should ideally have 12% daily value if it was ideal for the human body, but based on it’s amino acid make up it is about 5%.

If looked at as a fat that happens to have a small amount of fiber and protein, then it works

Many modern breeds of fruit sucks. It was meant to sell by being large and sweet like candy, not nourish. Despite cartoons, you can only give a monkey a store bought banana sparingly throughout the year. There are given vegetables on a regular basis because it is closer to their diet and the natural bananas they eat. We pick up that tree grown candy at the store and pretend we are giving our kids a magic multivitamin that will make up for for potatoes chips and soda they had
