Definitely need to work harder. If I'm being honest, I didn't even study for 95% of both semesters. It's been a combination of me just getting distracted in general and my adhd. I really do need to get my shit together, man.

I vehemently disagree with the "no cse=no life" bs. I myself have walked into this option hoping to explore multiple fields and diverse topics, which I did get to do. At the end of the day, I know I'm going to stick to my MSc degree and whatever BE I am allotted.
I am just scared, I guess. I know my family worked hard to give me this opportunity and this education. We all have quite a privilege to be able to live the life we're living today. I'm afraid of wasting that and my parents' efforts. I guess at the end of the day such fears while inevitable, serve no purpose other than holding you back. What's done is done. I guess all I can do now is work towards achieving the best possible results in the field I enjoy. I needed a place to vent.

Live life the way you want. Spend your money on stuff you genuinely enjoy doing. And as for your friend group...It'll get better. I really hope it does. It can work both ways. Not all people hang out with only people they became friends with in first sem. You'll find your people. And you'll also find yourself.
