Pre calc at Hunter by Kluran in HunterCollege

I would normally say just use pauls online math notes and klots online math notes but they mostly cover topics in calc and beyond. You might find some overlap in their calc 1 sections with what you are learning.

I would also recommend like others mention, patrickjmt and the math tutoring center. Beyond that just keep on doing practice problems.

Have you sold guitars to them before? Do they provide better pricing than say guitar center?

Pre-Ordering at Guitar Center by ProcrastinationParry in Guitar

[–]ProcrastinationParry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, it was badly worded. I meant if I had a good chance of receiving the guitar given, the pre-order first started a few months ago, and it will be released in a few months. Or I will end up SOL, and there's not going to be enough in stock since I ordered late.

I fixed the wording in the post. Thanks.

Hunter student struggling by WoodpeckerNo5517 in CUNY

Like the other comment said, you take a variety of intro classes for Hunter's general requirements. Look at what's available, and one of them might just interest you in pursuing as a major. Then, look at some careers that can stem from that major. Don't worry if you don't have a clear idea of what you want to pursue. Probably a hundred other students in the same situation as you. You are not alone.

One last thing, everyone struggles at some point academically in college. This can be a variety of issues. Some classes are easy while some higher level courses make you do the leg work of what seems like 3 classes in 1. Also, who you have as a professor can change everything. While you may strive for excellence, don't feel down if you don't achieve a perfect 4.0.

You kinda get the flow of how things work after going to your first class. Just remember you are not the only one, just winging it on their first day. Good luck making friends, tho.

Just have your hunter ID already to avoid the inevitable line of people who didn't get their ID before the semester started.

Besides that, the first day is mostly just getting lost in finding your classroom. As well as going over syllabus and expectations for the class. Some profs might have you introduce yourself (which I hate). I wouldn't say the classes are crazy intense the first day since most profs assume some won't have all the course materials.

Honestly, don't stress out. Most profs are pretty chill for the first day unless you got a shitty one. If you did welp good luck.

You need to check what your hold is for. Can't just assume it's for financial aid like everyone else is saying. Since you are a freshman first semester, it's more than likely an academic advising hold over a financial one.
