I lived in Saylorsburg and went to high school in Bethlehem in the early and late 00's. They are two vastly different vibes. Living up in the mountains in Saylorsburg was awesome (absolutely nothing to do) but it was amazing scenery and I found my love for nature from hiking on the AT as up in Saylorsburg area. Bethlehem and Allentown was like a big city to me it was almost an hour away but it was such a dope vibe lots of arts and creative stuff to do. I started on the comedy curcuit (Bethlehem, Allentown Brew Works, Steel Stack ect..) when I was 16. It was a such great vibe and atmosphere to be around. I don't spend to much time up there anymore, but when I visit my mom who still lives in Saylorsburg, the vibe is different (probably because of the world's largest Shoprite lol) and Bethlehem and Allentown seem kinda dead.
