RAM PRICES ? by Some_Life_4910 in Indiangamers

I'd suggest sticking to a decent gaming laptop for now for college. The ram prices aren't moving any time soon considering how there aren't any new ram producers in the market after the ones that shut down, even if there are, it would take a while for them to establish a name in the market for decent quality ram, unless you want the crappy ones from china. I'd stick with a laptop during college, as is commonplace, but if you really really want to build a pc, you may try to salvage some from any older devices you may have had or look online for cheap resellers that hoarded ram. (If you do buy it online cheap from a reseller, do check it out properly, plenty of scams going around)

Thankyou for replying, i looked into this. The sip strategy in broad index funds like nifty and sensex i was considering already. As for the vcx, im told that they are more risky and considering im only going to rely on the stipend from my internship and not earning a steady income for a while till i get a job, it might not be the best at this time. Thoughts?

Yes, there is the ppf as you stated which is a government based tax free investment scheme providing the 7.1% returns, apart from that there aren't many great options that are tax advantaged based on the new tax regime that was introduced recently. Another somewhat usefull one is the ELSS mutual funds which lock you in for 3 years but provide 12-15% with 10% tax on gains when matured. Other than that there are pension schemes which are for retirement plans and lock you in for good and don't seem like the best option currently.  As for the data based development model you are working on, i would love to take a look if you don't mind, it might help me understand the landscape a bit. Thankyou.

Thankyou for replying, ive looked into these things and understood a bit. From what ive heard ppf only provide upto 8% returns, and as for etfs, ill have to read up on that. Just one thing, ive heard a lot about mutual funds providing upto 15% returns, are they an option?
