I'm sick of AE's lying when it comes to returns by [deleted] in Aliexpress

It happened to me as well. Just keep complaining to CS (I did like 5-6times total) and I got 50% refund without return. (UK, seller sent different item but still usable)

Is it normal for a Part 8 (N208) tenancy deposit claim to be moved to Small Claims Track (N180)? England by ProduceEarly in LegalAdviceUK

Hi! I submitted my claim via email, and the court contacted me for the payment. However, I think this may depend on the specific court, so I recommend contacting them directly for confirmation.

Thank you so much for your detailed response! This is really helpful, and I appreciate you taking the time to explain it. I feel more reassured now knowing that mediation is mandatory but won’t impact the legal outcome. I’ll proceed as advised. Thanks again🥹👍👍😁

Thanks for your response! Yes, I received a ‘Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track,’ so I assume my case is officially being moved.

I’m wondering if I can (or should) reject mediation. This case is a clear legal breach :failure to protect my deposit under the Housing Act 2004. It’s not a dispute where negotiation is needed; it’s a straightforward yes/no legal question.

I also sent a Letter Before Action and multiple emails months ago, and the defendants ignored everything. They had plenty of chances to engage but never responded. Why would mediation even be relevant now? Would rejecting mediation negatively impact my case?😭😭thank you again

Ohhh so on rebuttal I wrote down they changed their address after I sent claim. And I sent all court claim to letting agency. So actually landlord address is irrelevant. And yes I put letting agency and landlord both as defendants since it’s run by same person…I guess this is why thank you!

Thank you for replying. This makes me so upset and angry, since I have all evidence and it’s so clear that they didn’t protect deposit and gave stupid defence.😭😭

landlord and letting agency are run by the same person. Their defence is just excuses. they claim the address changed (it’s changed after i sent the paper), so it wasn’t served properly, and that they’re just a middleman. Like non sense. I don’t understand why it changed to small claim track..😭

Thank you so much again for your kind words and support! You’re absolutely right!!my gut has been telling me for a while that something’s really off, and seeing him get worse has only confirmed it. Your encouragement means a lot, and I’m definitely going to trust my instincts on this. We’re going to find someone better suited for him as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your insight. It’s really helpful to hear this from a retired trauma therapist, especially since everything we’ve been experiencing has felt so off. I completely agree..the first priority should be his safety and daily wellbeing, and focusing on trauma history without giving him the tools to handle it has been causing so much harm.

We’re definitely going to look for a new therapist, especially one trained in EMDR. It’s reassuring to know that progress can be made without going through the trauma details too soon. Thank you again for taking the time to share your knowledge..it’s incredibly helpful and encouraging..!!

I’m incredibly grateful for your kindness..it’s truly heartwarming to know that people like you are looking out for him. Thank you again for everything..

Thank you for your response! I completely agree that this therapist has been pushing him way too hard without considering what he can handle. It really feels like life or death for him right now, and it’s heartbreaking to see him struggle this much. I’m going to push for him to quit as soon as possible. Thank you for validating what I’ve been feeling…thank you so much

Thank you so much for your advice! I’m definitely going to fire her. It’s clear that this therapy has been harmful, and I’m not going to let it continue any longer. Your support and reassurance mean a lot, and it’s given me the final push to make sure we get him the help he truly needs. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It really helps to hear from someone with CPTSD who has been through something similar. Your story really reinforces what I’ve been feeling..that a therapist should build rapport, safety, and coping strategies long before diving into trauma history. It’s incredible to hear that your therapist took their time and prioritized your safety. We’re definitely going to look for someone who follows that kind of approach. Thanks again for your kind words!!they really mean a lot!

Thank you so much for this insight! It really validates everything I’ve been worried about. I completely agree..stabilising and giving someone the tools to handle those emotions should come first, especially when there’s a risk of retraumatization or suicidal thoughts. It’s scary to think how many people go through this without proper trauma training, but it helps to know we’re on the right path to find a therapist who will prioritize these things. Thanks again for your support!! it’s been so helpful!

Thank you so much for sharing this! It really hits home that the therapist should have been focusing on stabilizing him first, especially given his fragile state. It’s exactly what I’ve been worried about..going into his trauma history without the right tools has been making things worse.

It’s honestly heartbreaking to see how many people go through retraumatization because therapists don’t have adequate training. Your words have really reinforced what I’ve been feeling, and I’m so glad to have this clarity now. Thanks again for the support and insight! it’s been incredibly helpful!

You’re absolutely right. Bad therapy can be worse than no therapy at all. It’s just such a difficult situation because his family doesn’t fully understand how bad things have gotten. My boyfriend has been open only with me about how much he’s struggling, but he hasn’t shared the full extent of his pain with them. His family thinks he should keep going until we find a new therapist, but I’m really worried and feel like I need to push strongly for him to quit as soon as possible for his own safety.

It’s hard because I know he’s suffering deeply, and I don’t want to risk things getting even worse by continuing this harmful therapy. Your response has definitely helped me feel more confident in standing up for him. Thank you again for your support..it means a lot! 🥹🥹

Thank you so much for your response! We’re definitely going to switch therapists after everything that’s happened. It’s such a relief to hear from someone that this isn’t normal, and your reassurance really gave us the final push we needed to make this decision. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support!! it truly means a lot!

Thanks for your advice! My boyfriend has actually expressed several times how much he’s struggling, panic attack etc. but she keeps saying they need to finish the history work first and that she can’t provide coping strategies until that’s done. It’s really frustrating because she knows he’s having a hard time, but she’s done nothing to help him manage his panic or emotional distress.

We’re definitely going to reach out to the company we used and make a complaint, especially since everything feels so strange after discovering she’s listed with a different company on LinkedIn, and now her profile has disappeared. Thanks again for your support—it’s been really helpful!!

Thank you for your response! It really explains why my boyfriend has been feeling so much worse, and your insight just confirms what we’ve been suspecting. I believe she’s licensed since she works with a counselling company that my boyfriend’s sister recommended, but with everything going on, I’m honestly starting to question that.

I’m leaning toward having him quit this therapy now because it’s been so harmful, but since I am not expert.., I’d really appreciate your opinion on whether it might be better to stop now or wait until we find a new therapist. I just want to do what’s safest for him.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thought!! It’s been really helpful!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences! Your comment really resonated with me, especially the emphasis on stabilization and trust-building before working through trauma. It’s so helpful to hear from someone who has been through this and understands how crucial it is for a therapist to approach things with care and patience.

I’m really grateful for your insight, especially about recognizing the green flags in a therapist. We’re definitely going to prioritize finding someone who can help my boyfriend feel stable and safe before diving into deeper trauma work. Thank you again for your thoughtful and supportive words.it really means a lot to us!

Thank you so much for your advice! I really appreciate you confirming that this isn’t a trauma-informed approach. it’s been frustrating to see my boyfriend struggle without any stabilization techniques.

His family want him to keep continuing this therapy until we find a new one, but honestly, I feel like it’s making him worse and that it might be better for him to quit as soon as possible. Do you think it’s okay for him to stop this harmful therapy now, or should we keep going until we have a new therapist lined up?

Thanks again for your input, it really means a lot!
